How Faith Works and How to Command it Effectively.
Matthew 17:15 - 20
A man with an ill son comes to Jesus for a miracle cure. He explains to Jesus that His own disciples were not able to cure his child. So Jesus orders him to bring his sick son to Him. Jesus proceeds to call a cure on him, and the Holy Bible says he was cured within that hour. (This was not an instantaneous miracle, however it was still a miracle.)
Later the disciples come to Jesus in private obviously embarrassed and in wonder to ask why they could not cure the boy. Jesus explains to His disciples that it was due to their unbelief (Matt 17:20). He told them that if they even had faith as small as a mustard seed they could have moved mountains with it. (Jesus was not referring to mountains of dirt and rock, but huge problems or illness, or lack or other type of mountains that you may even face today.) With this kind of strong faith, they could have had success. A mustard seed is probably one of the smallest seeds in the world. Jesus just wanted to make sure they understood the power of genuine faith regardless of how small it is. He was talking about untainted kind of true faith in God that can bring miracles. I can see the disappointment in the disciple’s faces because they had already been performing miracles before this failure. So you see no one is immune to imperfection on this earth, even if you have had success before! Jesus knew that people in those times had faith but most of them did not have strong faith, largely due to fear of the Roman government and its twisted rules. And most of the people had only heard stories of Jesus healing the sick but had seen any miracles firsthand. How fortunate you are to have the current Holy Bible, available in many languages and dialogs today. Back then, only certain preists had access to scribbled scrolls of the writings of Moses and other prophets. As you figure by now, very few individuals could even read. In those days it was difficult because the decision who to worship was dictated by someone else.
So, what has the above story taught us about faith? Well, in order to work, the person performing must have strong faith full of trust that God will provide the miracle. (Strong faith is usually felt in your heart and in the pit of your stomach! This website instructions will elevate you to this level.) Also realize that those miracles won’t happen if you have doubts infecting your faith. Another thing you may notice is that some miracles don't happen instantly, they may take time but miracles are still possible! Next you learn that Jesus did not pray for the sick boy, He only used a short command as he often did, and God listened and provided. And lastly and most important fact is that miracles are possible even in today's modern times! And many people among us have reported expierencing them now.
Do you need a miracle yourself? If you do, work on your faith, practice using faith without any doubts contaminating your faith. Weed out all the doubt preventing it from working for you. Then go through the motions and say the words! There is power in the spoken word. Merely reading about it won't work at all! To sum up things, when praying for something, have a heart full of trust in God, a mouth full of praise for his glory, and a clear focused faith unaffected with what is happening around you or to you, and voice your commands in an audiable tone! Use a short commands when praying for someone in need. It may not work on your first try, it may take practice. But you will have success, and it will surprise you! So come on, see yourself as strong as a rock, unmoved by unfortunate circumstances, with clear trusted focus on our almighty God who is our provider of all that we need. Build your faith strong so you can say, let the storm blow its wind, let the challenges come, so you will be ready now!
Here is how to prepare yourself to be used by God to implement this power:
If you plan to pray for someone's healing, I know this will help all who believe because our Holy Bible says in Mark 16:17, "and these signs (miracles) will follow those who believe." Belief is necessary for these instructions to be effective.
The prayer below is a preperation prayer for the ones praying. Then use short commands for the sick person's need. (Just like Jesus did) Long prayers are not necessary!
This prayer will prepare your state of mind to bring healing for someone: Heavenly Father, here I am, I don't deserve to be in your presence, yet you welcome me with grace instead of punishment. Since I have learned this fact, I surrender to you now. I know I am a sinner, I am just human, yet you sent your Son to save all sinners inspite. You provided us with a grace period, instead of punishment against our impurities. I accept and live in this grace period now. You surprise us by even using some of us to bring your power to those in need. You have always used humans just as we are, imperfect, to heal others and bring you fruit for your kingdom. I welcome your Holy Spirit now,to use my hands and short command prayers to heal ourselves and others. In Jesus powerful name I praise your Holy name and thank you, Amen.
And here is how to heal someone in need:
Use short to the point commands when praying for someone. Prayer examples: Sickness, be gone in the name of Jesus. Amen. or: Evil spirit of infection, be gone in the name of Jesus. Amen. or : God, please restore (person's name) to normal health from head to toe now, in the name of Jesus, Amen. You can use any combination of these prayers and always in the name of Jesus.
Now go blast a disease or evil spirit out of a loved one. If you can do that, you can use short command prayers to bless people all day long! Just go through the motions, verbally pray and let God do the work! This is your position to be used by God for His great power.
Notice that the word "believe" appears approximatly 30 times in the first 10 chapters in the book of John. The intended message is very clear that belief is necessary.
Our Holy Bible says "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us" (Eph 3:20) This passage is referring to the power that works in us being the same power fueled by God, the same one our Lord Jesus used and the same one that is in you right now! God is able to do miracles when you speak His words, believing into existance His very nature! God will use you to create miracles through you! (Overcome your disbelief. Try it on someone right now. You have nothing to lose. But you may have lots to gain if God uses you for his miracles. There is a huge posiblity these bible instructions will work for you, inspite of yourself!)
I believe in our Holy Bible, and so I am praying in full power for you, so go though the motions. Practice the lesson above, on someone! You may find that even practice prayers on some have the power and posibility of working! Everyday people have reported to me that the first healing sent them into a blessed whirlwind of blessings and miracles that they have never been the same since. Your heart is courious to find out. What will your first healing bring you from the heavenly realm? Think about the person suffering you pray for. How mistified, surprised, and thankful will the healed person be! Try this and see where this will lead you.
