Why do we need to be "saved" anyway?

Some time ago a successful business person sarcastically let me know they did not need our Lord, that he worked hard, and stepped on alot of people to make sure his success would take care of him for the rest of his life. He also mentioned that he had to look out for himself because no one was going to do that for him or his family. How wrong he thought!

I would not want to be in his shoes when he takes the last breath! He is going to next open his eyes and find himself in a room full of important spirits, like God for instance and Jesus, and all the rest of God's important Spirits, deciding his fate for eternity.

Its much better to play it safe! I would rather belive the Holy Bible and enjoy life in the presence of God's glory now while here on earth and after my last breath, in case it is all true just like the scriptures promise!

How sad for those who refuse to realize that our spirit is designed to never die. That is right, our spirit will live forever. it is not our choice! Your spirit is alive now and upon your death, your spirit will discard this earthly body and continue onto the realm of God's court for judgement. Our Holy Bible gives us the tools to prepare right now for the day we step into that room full of those important spirits. Allow your Spirit to enjoy the blessings while you are here and after. Now you are well informed, and the decision you implement will make a huge difference.

Proceed to your lesson:

Receive Jesus into your life. Salvation has a multifold blessing: it is freedom from sin and even freedom from sickness while you are still here! Answer the following questions.

If you died today, would you go to heaven?

Do you know that God has a gift for you called eternal life?

If you answered "No," or "Don't Know," The Holy Bible explains that God has already promised you total forgiveness for all your sins when Jesus took all those lashes on His back on the way to the cross and shed his blood for your forgiveness! Jesus also shed His blood for your eternal life. He hung on that same cross for you. Take note of the benefits of Salvation. God does not want a saved person just to be sin free but also sickness free while here on earth, and by his side forever after you leave this world! Yes! He wants you to be a well saved person because the Holy Spirit will be living within you as soon as you decide to save yourself! That is why Salvation takes care of all that too! (Wow! So, Salvation really means: freedom from sin and sickness and salvation for eternity from now on!!! No wonder so many people want to be saved. The wonderful benefits, the multiple blessings now and forever!)

If you have been pondering whether or not to give your life to Christ, those are good reasons to do that right now! If you are tired of running in the opposite direction, it is time to come to God for a complete make over! Pray the prayer below. The minute you decide to turn away from sin, you are allowed to start over. God will grant you a new start and you will be accepted into His kingdom = Salvation! Pray the prayer below:

Salvation Prayer

Dear God, I am ready to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

I repent of my sins, cleanse me, forgive me, accept me and save me now.

I believe on your Word that Jesus came down from heaven and died on that cross for me.

I believe He has already paid for all of my sins, and already bore all my sickness when He spilled His blood and went to the cross. God, I also believe Jesus rose from the dead and went to Your side.

I believe He will return one day, and I will be ready.

I accept Your Son Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior right now.

Jesus, Come into my heart and my life right now, I will walk with you as you live within me, now until forever.

I thank you God for this gift, in Christ Jesus' name I pray, Amen

There, You have been set free! Celebrate, Rejoice!

If you prayed the Salvation Prayer above, you have been set free of all your sins and sickness, you are now saved and set free. You are no longer a hostage of the shame for your past sins. The Bible says that once you repent and ask for forgiveness of sin, God promises not to remember your sins any more, so drop your guilt and move on to rebuild your new you! You are free to start over regardless of what others think! Repenting, and getting saved has many more benefits as promised and recorded in our Holy Bible. It is the Holy Truth. Go and enjoy your salvation from damnation, and your freedom from sins and sickness! Now walk confidently in your personal miracle!

Instructions for the New You!

As you have surrender your life to Jesus, you are a new person. You may feel a brief period of emptyness. If you do, it is due to separation from the old sinful you. Now you are to fill any new emptyness and idleness only with things approved by God. Repenting and foresaking your old life style may be a difficult adjustment for some of us. Start by feeding your new clean Holy Spirit with more of God's Word. Your Spirit has awakned within you now and needs the Word to thrive on! Read the Bible. Start with the book of John. Then come back and read Matthew, Mark, and Luke. These books found in the New Testament, will introduce you to the commands and benefits of knowing and walking daily with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Learn the many works and teachings that he has already gifted to you. God sent Him to gather the lost, save all sinners, and grant the gift of eternal life to all who accept and believe.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

“For God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).

If you have condemned youself by not believing before, now you know better! The amazing thing is that you have just accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. The Bible promise above grants you eternal life in heaven. The Bible promises us that "...there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance" (Luke 15:7). Please learn more about your gift by reading Gods' Word for yourself and learning from others united in Christ. Join a Bible believing church. Learn how to establish your personal relationship with God almighty through Jesus Christ and celebrate your new freedom from the bondage of sin and sickness. Forsake your previous lifestyle. Live for Him who saved you!

This is straight out of the Holy Bible. Salvation is not man made, God willed it for all of us, regardless of what bible believing chruch you belong to. If your chruch does not offer you teachings and sermons on the benefits of being saved, walking in the Holy Spirit, or anything about Jesus, go to one that does. Feed your new Spirit. He will bless you with health, happiness and prosperity beyond your wildest dreams! So don't hold your new Spirit captive in your old sinful, sickly lifestyle. This is your time to renew internally and rejoice!
